Community Care Circles: Zine Making with The Gender Empowerment Centre

This Care Circle is a partnership between AVP and the Gender Empowerment Centre explaining the history and cultural significance of zines, as well as teaching you how to make one! Craft supplies will be provided, though feel free to bring your own, plus example zines to read and draw inspiration from.

The Community Care Circle is a free weekly, drop-in event that aims to create a space for UVic students to build community. Through events such as craft, workshops, or skills building, we want you to be able to come together to share, learn, connect, advocate for change, and build a culture of care. All are welcome!
