AVP is looking for a work-study student to join our team!
Interested in working with a non-profit organization dedicated to ending sexualized and gender-based violence? AVP is hiring a work-study to join our team for the 2021/2022 school year! We have 200 hours at $16 per hour (4% vacation pay) available. To apply, students must be eligible for the UVic Work Study program (see link for more information and to apply).
Every year, our awesome work-study student helps us tackle new projects, as well as supports our team with various administrative tasks. Our ideal candidate is someone who is organized, self-motivated, creative, and has excellent time/project, as well as, able to apply a critical lens to our work addressing sexualized and gender-based violence. This position is flexible: Our team currently uses a hybrid work model, working both remotely and in our office on-campus throughout the week.
