Survivors’ Writing Project
In 2014, the Anti-Violence Project collected stories by survivors who wished to break the silence surrounding gender-based violence by sharing their stories. Unfortunately, since then, we appear to have lost the stories that were contributed, or they may have been removed by a previous AVP staff member.
We’ve listed the story titles below to help archive this writing project, and we’d like to provide room and encouragement to anyone who wishes to tell their story of gender-based or sexualized violence. While we’re not currently publishing new stories on our website, please do reach out to us if you have a new project in mind, or are interested in collaborating with us in a different way. As always, we’re here for you, and we welcome your feedback. If you would like confidential support, please contact us or one of our recommended resources.
