International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers-Red Unmbrella March

PEERS and the Women’s Centre would like to invite you to a rally and memorial for the International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers on December 17th.

Join sex workers and their allies in the movement to say this violence must end!
The day calls attention to the violence committed against sex workers all over the globe as well as the need to remove the stigma and discrimination that is perpetuated by prohibitionist laws that make violence against sex workers acceptable. The red umbrella is an international symbol of sex workers rights, please bring your red umbrella to the rally and be a part of the movement!

The rally will begin at Government St. and Discovery St. at 11:00 and will travel to the legislature, where there will be speeches and refreshments.
