AVP Care Packages available!

To celebrate the end of the semester (yay) as well as acknowledge and hold space for some of you who may have experienced violence, the Anti-Violence Project (AVP) has created some care packages! These care packages are intended for students at the University of Victoria who are survivors of violence whether the experience was recent or further in the past. We recognize that exam periods can be particularly stressful and there are often amplified barriers to navigating trauma, well-being and thriving in your studies. With these care packages, it is our hope that survivors can find a moment of comfort and ease.

Included in the package is:

  • A limited edition tote bag
  • A jar of unscented bath salts
  • AVP stickers
  • AVP pins made by our volunteers
  • A gift certificate to a local BIPOC owned eatery
  • A mini-succulent (not available for mail option)
  • A mini tin of tea
  • A beeswax candle
