The Clothes Line Project
This week was Sexualized Violence Awareness Week here at UVic and as part of that we’ve been putting on our Clothesline Project. We’ve had thousands of interactions with students and staff and community members who have beared witness to the messages painted on t-shirts or who have given voice and expression to the messages themselves. We’ve been doing this project for XX years and it’s our honour to keep this tradition alive here at UVic. We’re not the only campus to run this kind of art project. This is made more evident by social media use. Here’s some photos from this fall of the Clothes Line Project here at UVic and elsewhere.
