*PAUSED*: Community Care Circle

*The Community Care Circle is paused until the new school year.* We will be seeking feedback from students and community members to find out what you want and need for community care.

Anti-Violence Project is excited to launch a NEW free peer support program happening bi-weekly on Wednesdays starting September 28, 2022.

AVP’s Community Care Circle is a free bi-weekly peer support drop-in group that aims to create a safer space for survivors and supporters of survivors to come together to share, learn, advocate for change, and build a culture of care within the community.

The circle will be offered from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm every second Wednesday throughout the school year. See info on dates and location below.

Here are some important things to note about our Community Care Circle:

  • masks are required (except when eating or drinking)
  • limited spaces due to COVID, however we will do our best to accommodate and expand our space as needed
  • AVP is a survivor-centred and survivor-led organization, this encompasses all our programming and services.
